Course Description:
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have significant experience in specialist technical skills, or managerial business and people management skills.
Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, leading a team or a strategic direction of a business. They apply their skills across a wide range of industries and business functions, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).
The Electives chosen for this qualification will enable students to gain the following specialisations:
- Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security)
Entry Requirements:
- 18 years or above and have completed Year 12 (HSC) or AQF qualification (Diploma of Management or equivalent).
- Academic IELTS 5.5 overall, no less than 5.0 in each band or upper intermediate or EAP from approved ELICOS/ESL centre.
- Successful completion of ICT50418: Diploma of Information Technology Networking or ICT50220: Diploma of Information Technology
- Applicants with no formal qualification and who can provide evidence of relevant and sufficient work experience can be considered
